Radiators or hot-water baseboards
Heating water or steam does not require supply-air ducts. If you also have central AC, identify its separate air handler, supply runs and returns. Do not buy whole-house duct cleaning for a hydronic heating loop.

Framingham, Massachusetts · Identify the system first
A Framingham cleaning budget starts with what actually moves air in your home. Published local offers include $299–$499 for a provider's standard residential scope and $450–$850 for another provider's full-system scope. Supply-only work, dryer exhaust, and ductless equipment cleaning are different jobs. Compare their inclusions before comparing their prices.

Check the equipment and room connections rather than inferring the work from the home's age or ZIP. These are planning scenarios, not claims about every Framingham property.
Heating water or steam does not require supply-air ducts. If you also have central AC, identify its separate air handler, supply runs and returns. Do not buy whole-house duct cleaning for a hydronic heating loop.
Map the supply outlets back to the air handler and trace the return path. Ask whether the return is a duct, a building cavity, or a shared pathway. Finished basement ceilings and concealed returns can change access, closure and restoration scope.
A wall-mounted ductless head has filters, a coil and a drain, but no whole-house air duct network. Quote its maintenance separately. If old central-air ducts remain, identify whether they are still in use before including them.

$299–$499
Its FAQ advertises this standard residential range, depending on home size and vents. It does not fix the system or vent count in that price statement. Request written inclusions and exclusions.
$300–$450 supply-only; $450–$850 full-system
The provider's pricing table distinguishes supply-only from full-system work. These are its own published ranges, not independent evidence of the citywide average. Confirm returns, equipment and access work.
HVAC duct cleaning requires a quote
The local FAQ prices air ducts by building size and system configuration. Its $150 minimum is for a dryer-vent run, not the home’s heating/cooling ducts. Do not use that number as a full-system cleaning budget.
A supply-only price omits the return side unless the written scope says otherwise. A full-system label also needs a component list. Reconfirm rates and exclusions before work; the three pages do not form a statistically representative local price survey.
Turn a base offer into a comparable subtotal. The starting numbers are an editable example, not a local average or a contractor offer. Enter your written quote. If it charges per vent with no base, enter $0 for base and 0 included vents.
Method: base × systems + max(0, supplies − included supplies × systems) × extra-vent rate + quoted return total + other quoted extras. No remediation, repairs, tax, or extra system charge is inferred. Quote prices stay in your browser; no ZIP or contact information is collected by this worksheet.
Example, not a local quote: two independently quoted systems at $400 each plus a separately approved $150 access allowance total $950 before unlisted work or tax. A one-system $400 offer cannot be compared with that example until system count and access match. No Framingham labor multiplier or rebate is applied to this arithmetic.
The EPA homeowner guide does not recommend routine duct cleaning on a fixed schedule or establish that it prevents health problems. Ask for documented findings inside your own system. Light dust on a grille alone does not establish a need for full-system cleaning.
Excessive debris released into rooms, vermin or suspected growth calls for further investigation and source correction. Ordinary duct cleaning does not resolve moisture, remove pests, restore damaged insulation, or repair disconnected runs. Suspected growth and unknown materials need appropriate assessment before cleaning or chemical treatment is approved.
Published provider examples checked October 26, 2026 include Eco Clear Air's $299–$499 standard residential range and Dusty's $450–$850 full-system range. The scopes differ; neither is a verified city average or a quote for your address. Confirm system count, supply and return paths, equipment components and access before comparing totals.
Radiators and hot-water baseboards do not distribute heat through room-air ducts. Ductless mini-split heads need their own equipment maintenance, not a whole-house duct-cleaning package. A home may still have separate central-air ducts: identify each system before requesting work.
No. Enter the actual project ZIP and describe the cleaning task in the partner form. Availability changes and depends on the address and work. Neither this guide nor a planning calculation guarantees a match, appointment or price.
No. The dryer exhaust is a separate system with its own route and exterior termination. A dryer-only minimum or bundle discount does not price supply ducts, returns, trunks or the HVAC air handler.
This guide combines dated provider price statements with original system-identification and access scenarios. Price ranges remain attributed to their publishers; no city average, health benefit, household coverage count, or guaranteed quote is inferred. The worksheet adds user-entered scope only.
