Dallas, Texas · Cleaning quote guide
Dallas cleaning offers are priced by home, system, or vent. One reviewed provider publishes $400–$600 for a standard single-family home; another starts at $249 for up to 10 vents. Those figures buy different scopes. Count supplies, returns and HVAC systems before using a headline price as your budget.

$249 up to 10 vents
$35 for each additional vent
Published scope includes register removal and brushing/vacuuming. Coil cleaning is a separate $99 add-on. Confirm how return grilles count and whether trunks, plenums and each air handler are included.
$35 per vent + $75 per return
Published deep-cleaning rate
Its separate basic offer starts at $129 and lists main-plenum cleaning. Basic and deep offers have different descriptions; confirm whether base, minimum, or system charges apply before combining rates.
An arithmetic example shows the difference: Dallas Kwik Dry's listed rate gives $319 for 12 counted vents ($249 + 2 × $35), before unlisted scope or extras. AirFlux Pro's deep rate gives $570 for 12 vents and two returns (12 × $35 + 2 × $75), before any unconfirmed base or minimum. These totals do not establish equivalent service. Neither example is an actual quote for your home.
Turn a base offer into a comparable subtotal. The starting numbers are an editable example, not a local average or a contractor offer. Enter your written quote. If it charges per vent with no base, enter $0 for base and 0 included vents.
Method: base × systems + max(0, supplies − included supplies × systems) × extra-vent rate + quoted return total + other quoted extras. No remediation, repairs, tax, or extra system charge is inferred. Quote prices stay in your browser; no ZIP or contact information is collected by this worksheet.
Map which rooms connect to the air handler. Ask whether the stated vent count includes returns and whether trunk lines and both plenums are in the base. Clean register faces alone are not proof the concealed system was cleaned.
Have the crew price each system and mark the ducts it serves. A two-story home does not automatically mean two systems. Conversely, counting vents alone can hide a second setup charge.
Describe ladder access, working space, duct material and debris location. Request a separate allowance for access and finish restoration. Torn flex duct, damaged liner or wet insulation needs assessment before aggressive brushing.
The EPA homeowner guide does not recommend routine cleaning on a fixed schedule and does not establish that cleaning prevents health problems. Light household dust alone is not evidence that a full-system job is needed. Ask for photos of actual duct conditions rather than buying from a calendar reminder.
Substantial debris release, vermin, or suspected growth warrants investigation and correction of the underlying source. Suspected mold is not a visual diagnosis; wet or moldy insulation may require replacement. Ordinary cleaning is not pest exclusion, moisture correction, hazardous-material work, or mold remediation. Do not approve chemicals or sealants without a documented purpose, suitable product and informed authorization.
The reviewed Dallas-area offers use different scopes: ProVent lists $400–$600 for a standard single-family home, Dallas Kwik Dry lists $249 for up to 10 vents plus extras, and AirFlux Pro lists a deep-cleaning vent-and-return rate. These are individual advertised examples checked October 26, 2026, not a surveyed city average. Get a written system-specific total.
Only after the same work is included. Count supply vents, returns and separate HVAC systems; then compare trunk/plenum cleaning, air-handler components, access, collection method and cleanup. A low vent price may omit work in a system-based bid.
Do not assume so. Leaks, disconnected runs, damaged flex duct, insulation replacement, moisture correction and remediation need separate findings and written prices. Cleaning cannot repair an air distribution system.
This guide compares three publicly posted Dallas/DFW offers with different scope definitions. No statistical local average or savings claim is calculated. The worksheet only adds the prices you enter. EPA guidance supplies the cleaning decision boundary, not current Dallas pricing. Sources and calculations were reviewed October 26, 2026.
